ProfitGuard ("we," "our," or "us") provides a house-flipping deal analysis platform for real estate investors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application.
Billing Partner: Our billing and authentication services are provided by Blessed Bits. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe via Blessed Bits. For details on how billing data is handled, see the Blessed Bits Privacy Policy.
When you create an account or subscribe, Blessed Bits collects and manages name, email, hashed password, optional phone for 2FA, billing address, and subscription status. See the Blessed Bits Privacy Policy for account and billing data.
ProfitGuard directly collects property details you enter, financial calculations, renovation estimates, receipt images and extracted expense data, comparable sales from third-party APIs, deal history, investor profile information, and usage data such as features used, session patterns, error logs, and device information.
We use app-specific data to provide the product, account data via Blessed Bits for billing, account and usage data for support, anonymized usage data to improve the service, receipt images for OCR, and property addresses for comparable sales. We do not sell your personal information.
We share necessary account information with Blessed Bits to process subscriptions, manage authentication, track usage for billing, and handle account lifecycle. Your card statement shows BLESSED BITS for subscription charges.
Third-party processors include OpenAI/x.ai for receipt OCR, property data APIs for comps, encrypted cloud storage for receipts, and mapping services for addresses. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Active account data is kept while the account is active. Project, deal, and receipt data is deleted with the account. Billing records are kept 7 years via Blessed Bits for tax compliance. Anonymized analytics are kept 2 years.
If your free trial ends and you do not subscribe, we delete your ProfitGuard projects and account data 30 days after the trial ends unless you subscribe. Export stays available until then. Subscribing cancels the deletion. This is separate from the account-deletion hold below.
When you delete your account via Blessed Bits:
Depending on your location, you may access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to certain processing, and opt out of marketing. For billing and account data, contact privacy@blessed-bits.com. For app-specific data, contact privacy@profitguard.app.
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via Blessed Bits (including 2FA), role-based access, security audits, rate limiting, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Session cookies and auth tokens are required for login. Usage analytics are optional. Google AdSense may use cookies for ads on public blog pages only; signed-in product users do not see those ads.
ProfitGuard is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your data may be processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including through our billing partner Blessed Bits.
We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
